Actually what happened? (All views are personal).

In a nutshell, the said WBLS Exam was duly notified and after the prelims exam , main exam was held and the interview too. The merit list was supposed to be formed from the aggregate marks obtained in main written exam and interview.

But during the ongoing process of exam, the commission has changed the rule of  the game and fixed some cut off marks in interview. Though the PSC has done it to get better candidates, the aggrieved candidate felt that it is against the norms.

So the writ petition was files under Art 226 of Indian constitution and it was heard at Administrative Tribunal first and then at Hon’ble High Court Kolkata. This is the actual case history and its result is the recent confusion among students.

Please be informed that normally the PSC WB is one of the most transparent body in India and all the rules and regulations are followed by it. No wrong is generally done by PSC WB which is detrimental to the students (we are saying this except the immediate case which is sub-judice). So do not worry guys, just give your best and work very hard, so that you can become one of the toppers in the exams you take.
