Reply Under Right To Information Act of Public Service Commission W B- PSC Policy o RTI.  The PSC has made a policy regarding the RTI replies, cut off marks etc.

Here is the policy.

Memo No. 19 5 2 – 2M – Dt 05.09.2018 Commission’s policy as regards to matters under RTI Act 2005. (1) P.S.C.W.B will publish in its website the following information as voluntary disclosure. No reply will be provided on such.
a) Cut-off marks for different categories of candidates along with information of qualified or shortlisted candidates in the preliminary examination, to be displayed for 30 days after publication of results.
b) Cut off marks under different categories of candidates for final stage of examination along with the Merit List prepared through respective examination, after the Merit List is forwarded to the Government to be displayed for 30 days. (2) The following information shall remain exempted and shall not be shared — i) Names and other information of Paper-setters, Moderators, Examiners or Head-
examiners;
ii) Names and other information of Board Chairman, Advisors, Experts, Government
Representatives:
iii) Information about Press where printing of question papers, test booklets, answer sheets, OMR sheets and other sensitive documents take place and their storage and movement to and from examination venues;
iv) Proceeding relating to promotion, selection, disciplinary cases and alike; v) Information regarding marks secured by the applicant/candidate pending completion of examination process; vi) Information relating marks or any other matter pertaining to candidates to third party; vii) Information available to a person in his/her fiduciary relationship; viii) Information to an applicant when he/she is a petitioner before a Court of Law; ix) Information which the Commission may consider sensitive and may lead to harm tranquility and harmony among citizens in general and the candidates in particular through its misuse or abuse.
(3) An applicant, who is a candidate in any recruitment examination may seek to inspect his/her answer scripts. The Chairman of the Commission or any Officer authorized by him may allow such inspection only when the application is made within 30 days of publication of results provided that all terms and conditions of such inspection have been duly complied.
