Starting Salary Of A WBCS A Group Officer After All Deductions

Please see the salalry structure first:

Scale of pay attached to different posts of Group A, B, C & D –

GROUP – A

(i) West Bengal Civil Service (Executive):

(PB-4A) Rs.15,600/- to 42,000/- + G.P. Rs. 5,400/-

Gross emoluments at the entry level : Rs.21,000/- besides D.A., M.A. and H.R.A. admissible as per rules.

(ii) Assistant Commissioner of Revenue in the integrated West Bengal Revenue Service :

(PB-4A) Rs.15,600/- to 42,000/- + G.P. Rs. 5,400/-

Gross emoluments at the entry level : Rs.21,000/- besides D.A., M.A. and H.R.A. admissible as per rules.

(iii) West Bengal Co-operative Service:

(PB-4A) Rs.15,600/- to 42,000/- + G.P. Rs. 5,400/-

Gross emoluments at the entry level : Rs.21,000/- besides D.A., M.A. and H.R.A. admissible as per rules.

(iv) West Bengal Labour Service :

(PB-4A) Rs.15,600/- to 42,000/- + G.P. Rs. 5,400/-

Gross emoluments at the entry level : Rs.21,000/- besides D.A., M.A. and H.R.A. admissible as per rules.

(v) West Bengal Food and Supplies Service :

(PB-4A) Rs.15,600/- to 42,000/- + G.P. Rs. 5,400/-

Gross emoluments at the entry level : Rs.21,000/- besides D.A., M.A. and H.R.A. admissible as per rules.

(vi) West Bengal Employment Service [Except the post of Employment Officer (Technical)] :

(PB-4A) Rs.15,600/- to 42,000/- + G.P. Rs. 5,400/-

Gross emoluments at the entry level : Rs.21,000/- besides D.A., M.A. and H.R.A. admissible as per rules.

Now Calculation will be like this:

Basic 15600

Grade pay 5400

Total Band Pay 21000.

DA 125% + House Rent Allowance 15%=140% of Rs 21000 =29400.

Medical Allowance Rs 300 (If you forgo it you get unlimited medical facility of you and your dependent family).

Total salary = 21000+29400+300= 50700 (as of now).
