4.  Define kinship. Establish relations of kinship with family and marriage.

6.  What is understood by the team fieldwork ?  Elucidate different methods and techniques used by the anthropologists during fieldwork.

7.  Define race. Critically discuss whether the concept of race is still valid for understanding the human biology.

(A) Mesolithic cultures.    (B) Human genetics.    (C) Ethnography.     (D) Social structure.    (E) Population structure.

3.  Give an account of ethnic and geographical distribution of Indian Tribal population.

4.  Enumerate briefly the theory of the origin of caste system. State the salient features of caste system in India.

5.  Write short notes on any two of the following :
(a) Jajmani system      (b) Soan Culture      (c) Social inequality       (d) Linguistic distribution of Indian tribes
