If you are a beginner start geography from NCERT books i.e from class 6th to 12th. The language is lucid and understandable. So it will create a base for your existing knowledge for the subject. Preferably go for old NCERT books.

Always have a atlas in your study table. Be it static or current affairs related geography preparation refer atlas. Geography preparation is incomplete without referring of atlas. Atlas plays an important role in WBCS Geography preparation.
