• The GI filing states that Bodoland has a tradition of consuming rice beer, believed to originate from Lord Shiva, and is taken as a medicine.
• The Association of Traditional Food Products successfully obtained four GI tags: ‘Bodo Napham’, ‘Bodo Ondla’, ‘Bodo Gwkha’, ‘Bodo Narzi’, and ‘Bodo Aronai’.
