Package for ST-majority village scheme saturation

• Launched a package for basic scheme saturation in tribal-majority villages across 550 districts.
• The package, originally known as PM Janjatiya Unnat Gram Abhiyan, was cleared by the Union Cabinet to implement existing schemes in 63,000 Scheduled Tribe-majority villages.
• The package is named after Birsa Munda, an anticolonial tribal leader who built resistance against the British empire.
• The Prime Minister recalled launching similar packages for the Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups on Birsa Munda’s birth anniversary.
