Jharkhand Mukti Morcha-led INDIA bloc returns to power in Jharkhand for the second time
• JMM leader and Chief Minister Hemant Soren praised the coalition’s performance, stating that democracy is about unity in diversity, brotherhood, and harmony.
• The JMM won 34 seats, the Congress 16, the RJD four, and the CPI(ML) Liberation two.
• The BJP won 21 seats in the NDA, while the All Jharkhand Students Union, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), and Janata Dal(U) each won one seat.
• Notable winners include Nishat Alam, Basant Soren, BJP State AmitBHELARI, RANCHI president Babulal Marandi, Jharkhand Assembly Speaker Rabindra Nath Mahto, and Champai Soren.
• A new party, the Jharkhand Loktantrik Krantikari Morcha, led by Jairam Tiger Mahto, won one seat.
