Bhutan King Jigme Wangchuck to Visit India

• The visit comes amid China’s efforts to establish formal diplomatic relations with Bhutan.

• The two countries are also addressing their boundary dispute, which could impact India’s security interests.

• In August last year, China and Bhutan agreed to implement a “three-step road map” to resolve the dispute.
