    • Union Home Minister Amit Shah criticizes the Congress for altering constitutional provisions for political gain, while the BJP focuses on empowering citizens.

    • Shah accuses the Congress of “anti-reservation” and claiming the party’s desire for a 50% ceiling increase was to provide reservation on religious lines.

    • Shah criticizes the Congress for “finding fault” with EVMs after losing elections and criticizes the Opposition Leader of Opposition, Rahul Gandhi, for his comments on V.D. Savarkar.

    • Shah argues that the Constitution is not an immutable document and Article 368 allows for amendments.

    • He lists four amendments brought by each party, comparing them to the BJP’s 22 amendments and the Congress’s 77 changes.

    • Shah criticizes the Congress for considering the Constitution a private fiefdom and for blocking efforts to bring in reservation for Other Backward Classes.

    • Shah also criticizes the Congress for supporting a “Common Civil Code” and questions why it didn’t come due to the Muslim Personal Law brought by the first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru.
