    • The 45-day event, starting on Monday, began with the Shahi Snan at the Sangam, the confluence of the Ganga, the Yamuna, and the Saraswati.

    • Despite the fog and cold breeze, devotion, faith, and spiritual unity were in full display.

    • Around 15 million devotees from around the country and the world gathered at permanent and temporary ghats, including Sangam Noj in Prayagraj.

    • The event attracted hundreds of international pilgrims and spiritual seekers, with South Korean YouTubers and Japanese tourists engaging with local guides.

    • Over 50,000 security personnel were in place, with senior officials overseeing security measures.

    • The event was a “once-in-a-lifetime experience” for many, with vendors selling puja materials and tilak artists attending to the crowd.
