Chennai arrests Bangladeshi terrorist.

• Abu Salam Ali, 14th member of Ansarullah Bangla Team and Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen, arrested by STF.

• STF also arrested five operatives of Pakistan-lined terror group, Jaish-e-Mohammad, in December 2024.

• Ali was tracked to a locality under Semmencherry police station in Chennai, part of ‘Operation Praghat’.

• Investigations reveal Ali played a major role in strengthening extremist groups and plotting attacks on Indian political leaders.
