FIR against gallery in M.F. Husain paintings case remains pending court verdict.

• Judicial Magistrate Sahil Monga of Patiala House Court reserved judgment on FIR against Delhi Art Gallery owners for displaying ‘offensive’ paintings by M.F. Husain.

• Advocate Amita Sachdeva filed a plea claiming the artworks depict Hindu deities with nude figures.

• Sachdeva’s lawyer sought an FIR under Section 299 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, arguing Husain’s work doesn’t justify insulting Hindu deities.

• The court ordered Delhi police to seize the paintings.
