Neutrinos are 20x more energetic than seen.

• Cubic Kilometre Neutrino Telescope (KM3NeT) spotted the most energetic neutrino ever.

• Detection was not noticed until early 2024.

• Energy and near-horizontal trajectory suggest the neutrino was produced by a more than 20 times more energetic neutrino.
