Investment proposals of ₹4.40 lakh cr. received during BGBS 2025: CM

• Banerjee announced a significant oil exploration project by ONGC in Ashoknagar, North 24 Parganas, and promised petroleum mining leases.

• Banerjee also highlighted the social sector initiatives of her government, including bringing 1.72 crore people out of poverty and providing cycles and tablets to school students.

• The Trinamool Congress government, led by Banerjee, has been in power in West Bengal for 13 years and has organized eight BGBS, including the one concluded on Thursday.
