• Gagandeep Singh, alias Goldie, arrested by NIA for illegally sending a man to the U.S. via a ‘dunki’ route.

• The victim, from Punjab, was deported back to India earlier this month.

• ‘Dunki’ refers to an illegal pathway for immigrants to enter countries without proper documentation.

• Goldie, who did not have a license or permit, used the ‘donkey route’ to send the victim to the U.S. via Spain, Salvador, Guatemala, and Mexico.

• Goldie’s associates reportedly abused and exploited the victim.
