Manipur will commemorate ‘Separation day’ on May 3.

• Indigenous Tribal Leaders’ Forum (ITLF) calls for May 3 as ‘Separation Day’ to commemorate two years of separation from the Meitei community in Manipur.

• The day will be observed at the Wall of Remembrance in Churachandpur district’s Tuibuong, symbolizing collective grief, resilience, and unity.

• ITLF aims to be a day of reflection and remembrance for the victims of the ethnic conflict.
