    • India and Pakistan have reached an agreement to cease military action and firing after three days of intense hostilities.

    • The decision was bilaterally agreed upon and will not affect recent punitive decisions taken by India against Pakistan after the Pahalgam terrorist attack.

    • Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri confirmed the decision was made by Pakistan on Saturday afternoon.

    • The Directors-General of Military Operations will review the pause during a meeting on May 12th.

    • The announcement is at a trial stage due to the intense phase of hostilities.

    • Cross-border firing and explosions have been reported in Srinagar.
