Another Maoist commander killed in joint operation
• Jharkhand Police and Jharkhand Jaguar have conducted a joint operation against Maoists in Palamu district.
• Maoist commander Tulsi Bhuinya was killed in the encounter, and a weapon was recovered.
• Maoist operatives Nitesh Yadav and Sanjay Godram were part of Bhuinya’s squad.
• Two Maoists, including Jharkhand Jan Mukti Parishad (JJMP) supremo Pappu Lohra, were killed by security forces in Latehar district.
• On Monday, police gunned down Manish Yadav and arrested Maoist leader Kundan Singh Kharwar.
• Yadav, carrying a reward of ₹5 lakh, has been a challenge for Jharkhand and Bihar Police forces for the last 15 years.
• Jharkhand Police and Jharkhand Jaguar are monitoring the situation and cordoning off the area.
