The India-Pakistan match in Colombo on October 5

• India’s ODI World Cup match against Pakistan to be held at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on October 5.

• Colombo added as a neutral venue due to India’s decision not to travel to Pakistan for the ICC event.

• India’s campaign begins with Sri Lanka in Bengaluru on September 30, and Bangladesh on October 26.

• Pakistan will play all matches in Colombo, following the hybrid model.

• The first semifinal is scheduled for October 29 at Guwahati or Colombo, the second semifinal at Bengaluru on October 30, and the final in Bengaluru or Colombo on November 2.

• India hosts the global event for the first time since 2013.
