• Species vulnerable to habitat degradation and climate change due to narrow endemism and specific habitat requirements.
• Specimens collected by researcher Nishant Chauhan, a member of the Satpura Biodiversity Conservation Society.
• Species confirmed as a new species after detailed study and comparison with known species.
• Currently, 11 species in India, including four endemics, are known, mostly in dry and semi-arid habitats.
