    • India held nine meetings with ASEAN officials to review the ASEAN-India Trade in Goods Agreement (AITIGA).
    • Despite pressure, no progress has been made.
    • India opened 71% of its tariff lines to ASEAN countries under the original agreement.
    • Despite doubled exports to ASEAN in the last 15 years, imports tripled.
    • India discovered ASEAN countries receiving highly subsidised raw materials from China, processing them, and exporting them to India.
