National Cooperation Policy 2025 Unveiled by Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah

• Aims to connect 50 crore people with cooperative sector.

• Second policy since Independence, first introduced in 2002.

• Focuses on needs of Dalits, Adivasis, and women.

• Six pillars: strengthening foundation, promoting vibrancy, preparing cooperative societies, enhancing inclusivity, expanding reach, expanding into new sectors, and preparing younger generation.

• Plans for sectors like tourism, taxi services, insurance, and green energy.

• Profits will reach members of Primary Agricultural Credit Societies at the rural level.
