• Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya inaugurated the country’s first Mondo track in New Delhi.

• The day, aimed at making it a Jan andolan, was celebrated by millions across the country.

• The event included a cricket match against the Media XI and the inauguration of the country’s first Mondo track.

• The event was praised by world and Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra as a “milestone moment for sport in Bharat.”

• Celebrations will continue with sports debates, conclaves, and indigenous sports on Saturday.
