• The International Cricket Council (ICC) is tasked with addressing the aggressive behavior between India and Pakistan cricket teams.

• The tensions have escalated from physical altercations to irate fans intervening from the stands.

• The players appear to be high on nationalism, adrenaline rush, immaturity, and bruised egos.

• The ICC should not be silently watching from the sidelines, as the situation has spiraled from the first meeting onwards.

• The ICC needs to intervene, involving the match referee or their own official, to address the issue and calm the tensions.

• Umpires should be empowered to act immediately at the first sign of offence.

• If India and Pakistan do not meet in the final, the situation must be defused before their next meeting, possibly in the T20 World Cup next year.
