ARCOP-led Consortium Wins Design Consultant Services for Yuge Yugeen Bharat Museum

• Arcop Associates, an architectural firm, has emerged as the top bidder for the design of the Yuge Yugeen Bharat Museum.

• The museum, located at North and South Blocks, is being built at the government buildings flanking Rashtrapathi Bhavan in New Delhi.

• The project, part of the Central Vista project, will replace the National Museum and will be the largest in the world with 950 rooms spanning 1,17,000 square meters.

• Principal Architect Kulapat Yantrasast, a Thai-born architect, is part of the team.

• The Notice Inviting Tender (NIT) for the selection of a Design Consultant for the museum was published on July 9.

• After a pre-bid meeting, five technical bids were received online and evaluated by a distinguished evaluation jury.

• Three firms were shortlisted: Arcop Associates Pvt. Ltd., Knight Frank India, and EcoFirst Services Limited.
