• Former Union Minister of Law and Justice Ashwani Kumar will attend the Pantheonisation ceremony of French jurist Robert Badinter in Paris on October 9.

• Kumar, also a senior advocate of the Supreme Court, expressed gratitude to French President Emmanuel Macron for the invitation.

• Pantheonisation refers to the ceremonial act of interring or commemorating individuals at the Pantheon in Paris, an honour bestowed by the French Republic for exceptional contributions.
