Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh Takes Over as IAF Chief
• Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh, a qualified flying instructor and experimental test pilot, became the Chief of Air Staff after the retirement of Air Chief Marshal V. R. Chaudhari.
• With over 5,000 hours of flying experience, Singh has commanded an operational fighter squadron and a frontline air base.
• He led the MiG-29 Upgrade Project Management Team in Moscow, Russia, and was the Project Director at the National Flight Test Centre.
• Singh served as the Air Officer Commandingin-Chief at Central Air Command and Vice-Chief of the Air Staff in 2023.
