Austria lifts Schengen membership on Romania, Bulgaria

• Austria’s interior ministry drops veto on Romania and Bulgaria joining Schengen.

• This move allows EU Interior Ministers to approve the move.

• Romania and Bulgaria, EU and NATO members, joined Schengen in March.
