Axiom space project delayed to fix rocket oxygen leak
• SpaceX has postponed the launch of Axiom Space Ax-4 mission from Falcon 9 to allow time for repairing a LOx leak identified during post-static fire booster inspections.
• The launch was postponed due to 85% favorable weather conditions for liftoff.
• ISRO also confirmed the postponement, stating that a LOX leakage was detected during a hot test on the launch pad.
• The launch of Axiom 04, scheduled for June 11, 2025, for sending the first Indian Gaganyatri to the International Space Station has been postponed.
• The crew includes former NASA astronaut Peggy Whitson and European Space Agency astronauts Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski from Poland and Tibor Kapu from Hungary.
