    • Lois Boisson, the French World No. 361, defeated Mirra Andreeva to set up a French Open semifinal against Coco Gauff.

    • Boisson made her Grand Slam debut, becoming the first Frenchwoman to reach the semis since Marion Bartoli in 2011.

    • She is the lowest-ranked woman to reach a Major semifinal in 40 years.

    • Andreeva missed a set point in the first set, but Boisson fought back to secure a six-consecutive victory.

    • Gauff, the 2022 losing finalist, defeated Madison Keys in an error-strewn opening match, overcoming 14 double-faults and 101 unforced errors.
