Chinese scholars will visit Visva-Bharati University to commemorate 75 years of India-China diplomatic relations.

• The seminar will commemorate the 75th anniversary of India-China diplomatic ties.
• Tagore’s visit to China in 1924 is seen as a symbol of China-India friendship.
• The seminar will be held at Cheena Bhavana at Visva-Bharati University, marking the 100th anniversary of Tagore’s visit to China.
• The event will also feature a photo exhibition at Visva-Bharati University.
• The Department of Chinese Language and Culture at Visva-Bharati University, established by Tagore and Professor Tan Yun-Shan in 1937, will be a focus of the seminar.
