DRDO Announces Successful Trials of Pinaka Rocket System

• Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) announces successful completion of flight tests of guided Pinaka multi-barrel rocket (MBRL) system.

• Tests are part of Provisional Staff Qualitative Requirements (PSQR) validation trials, preparing for induction.

• The Pinaka’s range has been enhanced to over 75 km.

• Tests assessed ranging, accuracy, consistency, and rate of fire for multiple target engagement in salvo mode.
