• Auqib Nabi’s hat-trick in the Duleep Trophy quarterfinal at BCCI Centre of Excellence boosted North Zone’s lead.

• Nabi dismissed the last five batters, including four in four balls, to secure a massive 175-run lead.

• Virat Singh, Manishi, Mukhtar Hussain, Suraj Sindhu Jaiswal, and Mohammed Shami contributed to North’s victory.

• Nabi also made 44 valuable runs, adding 97 runs to North’s day one score of 308 for six.

• Despite the impressive performance of Virat Singh, East’s collapse was a result of a house of cards, giving North firm control of the tie.
