    • Jeswin Aldrin, the National record holder, failed to perform well in the Indian Open athletics meet due to a hamstring injury.

    • Aditya Kumar Singh, another 23-year-old from Varanasi, won the gold medal with a leap of 7.74m.

    • Yashvir Singh of Railways won the men’s javelin with a 77.49m effort, outperforming Kishore Jena, the 2022 Asian Games silver medallist.

    • Tejinderpal Singh Toor claimed the shot put gold with a first throw of 17.61m, but fouled the next two before proceeding with the next three throws.

    • Amoj Jacob and Md. Anas, the National record holder, pulled out of the men’s 400m due to a hamstring issue.

    • The results include men’s 100m, 110m hurdles, 200m, 400m, 800m, 400m, and 1500m.

    • Women’s events included 100m hurdles, 400m hurdles, 100m, pole vault, triple jump, javelin, and shot put.
