INDIA bloc declares Tejashwi Yadav as Chief Ministerial Face in Bihar Assembly Election

• RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav is declared the chief ministerial face of the INDIA bloc for the Bihar Assembly election.

• The announcement was made by Ashok Gehlot, senior observer for the election, in Patna.

• The announcement was made during a joint press meet with Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) chief Mukesh Sahani, Bihar Congress in-charge Krishna Allavaru, Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee (BPCC) president Rajesh Ram, and Left leaders.

• Mr. Gehlot announced Mr. Sahani as the Deputy Chief Ministerial face of the alliance.

• The name of another Deputy Chief Minister will be announced later.
