• Despite the backdrop of U.S. President Donald Trump’s tariff wars, the two leaders agreed to expand their common ground on bilateral, regional, and global issues.

• They reaffirmed their commitment to cooperation based on mutual respect, mutual interest, and mutual solidarity.

• Both leaders reaffirmed that they are development partners, not rivals, and their differences should not escalate into disputes.

• Modi reiterated India’s readiness to support Myanmar’s developmental needs and expressed hope for fair and inclusive elections in Myanmar.

• Modi invited Xi to the BRICS summit that India will host in 2026.
