India levies an anti-dumping levy on Chinese goods for up to five years.

• The goods include Soft Ferrite Cores, vacuum insulated flasks, aluminium foil, Trichloro Isocyanuric Acid, and Poly Vinyl Chloride Paste Resin.

• The duty is imposed for five years on these imports.

• The duty ranges from $873 per tonne on aluminium foil for six months.

• The government also imposes duties on water treatment chemicals from China and Japan.

• The duties are imposed after recommendations from the Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR).
