India Names 15-Member Squad for ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup
• Defending champion India has named a 15-member squad for the ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup in Kuala Lumpur from January 18 to February 2, 2025.
• The squad will be led by Niki Prasad, with Sanika Chalke as vice-captain.
• The squad includes two wicketkeepers, G. Kamalini and Bhavika Ahire, and three standbyes.
• India is in Group A alongside hosts Malaysia, West Indies, and Sri Lanka.
• The top three from each group will advance to the Super 6 — two groups of six each — from Jan. 25 to 29.
• The top two sides from the two Super 6 stage groups will qualify for the semifinals, slated for Jan. 31.
