    • India’s negotiators in the U.S. are conducting final negotiations for a “mini trade deal” by July 8.

    • This comes after U.S. President Donald Trump hinted at a “very big” deal with India.

    • If the 90-day pause on “Liberation Day” tariffs is not extended or a trade deal is not reached, Indian exports to the U.S. will be subject to a 26% tariff.

    • Sources suggest U.S. and India are at loggerheads over the import of GM crops and cow milk.
