    • Eighth high-level meeting held between Indian Coast Guard and Sri Lanka Coast Guard in New Delhi.

    • Discussions focused on marine pollution response, maritime search and rescue, maritime law enforcement, and capacity building and technical assistance.

    • Sri Lankan delegation led by Director-General Rear Admiral Y.R. Serasinghe, Indian side by Director-General Paramesh Sivamani.

    • Both sides reaffirmed commitment to address maritime challenges and promote safety, security, and environmental protection.

    • SLCG delegation to visit India from August 10-14.

    • 5th India-Uzbekistan Joint Working Group on Defence Cooperation held in New Delhi.
