‘India to develop modern tech with EU’

• Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal plans to collaborate with the European Union to develop advanced technologies and secure critical raw material supply chains.

• The agreement was discussed during a meeting with European Commissioner for Trade and Economic Security, Maros Sefcovic.

• The Commerce and Industry Ministry aims to build a commercially meaningful, fair, and equitable trade agenda with the EU, addressing tariff and non-tariff barriers and promoting cost competitiveness.
