• Smriti Mandhana hit a sparkling 100 in the third ODI against New Zealand, helping India win the series 2-1.
• She scored 232 runs with two partnerships, including 76 for the second wicket with wicketkeeper Yastika Bhatia and 117 for the third with skipper Harmanpreet Kaur.
• This was her eighth century in ODIs and she has now overtaken Mithali Raj as the leading scorer of hundreds for India.
Brooke Halliday’s Performance
• Brooke Halliday’s career-best 86 helped the White Ferns recover from a batting collapse.
• She battled hard against the Indian attack and the oppressive heat, choosing only the right balls to go hard at.
• The visitors began disastrously with Suzie Bates getting run out in the seventh over.
• Halliday found support from wicketkeeper Isabella Gaze and Lea Tahuhu, adding 64 for the sixth wicket.
