    • Climate envoys from Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, and the European External Action Service (EEAS) held meetings in New Delhi.

    • The meetings aimed to strengthen EU-India cooperation on climate action, trade, and investment.

    • The mission was organized in coordination with the European Commission.

    • The talks come after the College of Commissioners’ recent visit, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi and EC President Ursula von der Layen announced the expedition of the India-EU Free Trade Agreement by 2025.

    • Climate Envoy for the Netherlands, Prince Jaime de Bourbon de Parme, emphasized the significance of the relationship.

    • Anthony Agotha, Special Envoy for Climate and Environment at the EEAS, emphasized the reliability of the European Union.

    • The 30th annual climate meet is expected to take place in Belem, Brazil in November.
