India’s Fuel Demand and Sales in December 2023

• Fuel demand rose by 2.1% compared to 2023.

• Total fuel consumption was 20.67 million metric tonne.

• Petrol sales increased by 10.8% to 3.3 million tonne.

• Diesel consumption increased by 6% to 8.1 million tonne.

• Cooking gas sales increased by 5.8% to 2.78 million tonne.
