ISRO Aims for 2027 Launch of LVM3 Semi-Cryogenic Stage

• ISRO is set to launch its first LVM3 launch vehicle equipped with a semi-cryogenic propulsion stage in 2027.

• Power head tests on the engine are progressing well, with five to six tests completed.

• The launch target is set for the first quarter of 2027, with the semi-cryogenic stage designed to enhance payload capability and reduce costs.

• The LVM3 will replace the L110 core stage with a semi-cryo stage using refined kerosene and liquid oxygen.
