ISRO Reschedules PSLV-C59/PROBA-3 Mission
• The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has rescheduled the launch of the PSLV-C59/PROBA-3 mission due to an anomaly detected in the PROBA-3 spacecraft.
• The mission, which was scheduled for launch on Wednesday, will carry 550-kg satellites into a highly elliptical orbit from the First Launch Pad (FLP), Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC-SHAR), Sriharikota.
• The mission, the 61st flight of PSLV and the 26th using the PSLV-XL configuration, will last about 18 minutes.
• The anomaly is currently under detailed investigation and a software solution is being evaluated to allow a launch on Thursday, December 5.
