    • A Jeju Air plane carrying 181 people from Thailand to South Korea crashed on arrival, killing everyone except two flight attendants.

    • The plane was a 15-year-old Boeing 737-800 jet that had arrived from Bangkok.

    • The crash occurred at 9:03 a.m. local time.

    • The total of 179 people, 85 women, 84 men, and 10 unidentifiable genders, were killed in the crash.

    • Emergency workers pulled two crew members to safety, who are conscious and not in a life-threatening condition.

    • The plane was completely destroyed, with only the tail assembly remaining recognisable.

    • Workers are investigating various possibilities about the crash, including whether the aircraft was struck by birds.
