• J&K Assembly passes resolution to restore special status amid BJP protests.
• Speaker Abdur Rahim Rather put the resolution to voice vote.
• Majority of legislators support it, including 55 National Conference members and outside parties.
• Supporters include Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Awami Ittehad Party, Independent legislator Shabir Kullay, J&K Peoples Conference chief Sajad Lone, and Aam Aadmi Party legislator Mehraj Malik.
• Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary moved the resolution.
