M.P. CM frees five more Kuno cheetahs.
• Chief Minister Mohan Yadav releases five cheetahs, including Veera, from their enclosures at Kuno National Park.
• Other cheetahs released include Asha and her three cubs.
• Two cheetahs, Agni and Vayu, roam freely in the forest since their release on International Cheetah Day.
• Yadav expressed satisfaction with the cheetah population increase in Madhya Pradesh.
• The total population of cheetahs at the national park is 26.
• Eight cheetahs were brought from Namibia and released on September 17, 2022.
• Six to eight more cheetahs are set to be brought from South Africa and moved to Gandhi Sagar Wildlife Sanctuary in Mandsaur district.
